Very high adds that ocean shore effect though both high and v.high use real reflections. I saw no need with increasing reflection resolution further though I added a double on the number of planes it uses albeit it's probably barely noticeable. Here I just added the default commands, there are a few others and the shader code is modified a bit with each preset as well such as the higher presets using high quality normal map effects. (SMAA was planned but it's not quite functional under DX11 unfortunately.) What I modified was to double the SSAO distance (100 is probably enough but it can be increased higher.) and I disabled FXAA entirely for a more clear image since I already use alpha to coverage at it's highest (foliage and stuff.) along with MSAA, only at 2x as I usually have it but it's enough. (The high setting cuts down SSAO distance.) The difference between very high and ultra high is that FXAA is given a value of 2 (higher quality?) instead of 1 (It's always enabled, even on low.) and cloud shadows is on, maybe that's why it causes such a large performance hit. One of the main additions to the config file, this separates the post processing from just a low, medium, high, veryhigh and ultra high presets and makes the settings more separate so it's possible to disable individual effects. (By default low used a value of just low with medium and high both using the medium setting, I am unsure if this works as I separated the command in a different section but the xml accepts it though now with being able to re-pack files I can alter it properly.) dll file had a UltraHigh preset defined so I change it. This should have been part of the environment preset but I had to separate it, there is no "_high" value however but the Dunia 2. I don't know why I added this, default is 30 and it seems more than enough, I guess I just doubled it in the process of going through the config file. There aren't all that many tweaks in the GamerProfile.xml file either come to think of it, mostly I just copied the interesting bits from the default file into it even if the commands are not modified in any way. (Not quite unlike the modding of games such as Saints Row 3 with using a existing archive for storing modded files.) dat/.fat file combination so it has some limitations. DDS are a bit more difficult to work with.) for example I tried it this morning with disabling the logo videos and it worked quite well but the program is still a work in progress so not every file is known yet and one has to use their patch archive to get custom content loaded, it won't read just any. The GamerProfile.xml file I posted was mostly just a example, I'm no good with guides and explanations though so usually I just provide examples based on my own configurations.Īlso now that the unpacker utility is advanced enough to also repack files it's even possible to go even further and modify much more of the game (There's a lot of lua and xml files, textures are console. If you think something should definitely be added here, please post the source. List of all possible GamerProfile.xml tweaks w/in-game quality settings ( source)

Not only that, you can also set each letter key with 2 tasks. For starters, BlackBerry has its main Convenience key, which you can set to start a task or an app. The BlackBerry greatly shows off its special features. Other Features: BlackBerry is tight on security! It’s sufficient as long as you aren’t comparing it to top-rated phone cameras.Īll in all, you can trust the Key2 to take decent photos and videos, but do not expect it to replace your favourite camera anytime. That’s not to say that the camera is below average. The transition of each frame seemed to lack fluidity. Taking videos isn’t any better too, with movements looking unnatural. Moreover, its portrait (bokeh) feature looks unnatural compared to notable phones with similar modes such as the iPhone X and Google Pixel. Brightness is not as accurate, and colours look yellow-ish. While photos do not suffer when ample of light is present, they turned out grainy in general. Key2 has three cameras two 12MP F1.8 rear cameras and one 8MP fixed focus front camera. Camera: Decent shots for the business person This problem is solved when you use the phone with both hands. We must say, that due to the keyboard’s placement, our hands tend to shift towards more than the bottom half of the phone for one-hand usage. This helps with easy scrolling and easing thumb movement. The keyboard also functions as a trackpad. However, once you’ve settled, typing on the Key2 is much more accurate than touchscreens. We have to admit that we’re very used to on-screen keyboards, so it took us time to adjust to the physical keyboard. There’s good responsiveness and a natural feel present when typing on it. Typists will definitely enjoy the physical keyboard like we did. In short, you should be able to end the day with at least 20% of battery left if you use it like we did. You can rest easy without needing to carry a power bank. Of course, this is depending on your usage of the phone itself. This includes web browsing, writing emails and documents, a few minutes of gaming and also watching videos on YouTube. Packed with 3,500mAh battery power, the Key2 lasted the whole day with decent usage. A small downside to the screen, however, is that we find it to be dimmer than many other phones. While having a 4.5-inch screen is smaller than many phones of today, it’s still a good size for videos, typing and viewing documents, and even gaming.Ĭolours are also rich and pleasant, with the menu UI looking sleek although not as simple-looking as the iPhone. All these are a nod from our palms and wrists. Weighing at 168g, the Key2 is also light to hold considering that it’s just a tad smaller than an iPhone 7 Plus. The phone sports a black textured matte casing. At its side are the volume and power buttons along with the BlackBerry’s Convenience key, which can be used to mute calls or set as a shortcut to an app or action. RAM has also been doubled to 6GB, along with a 64GB worth of storage space which is expandable up to 256GB.īack to the Key2, you’ll notice its 4.5-inch touchscreen and a 35 key backlit physical keyboard taking up more than a quarter of the entire phone. Between the two, Key2 is a much faster phone thanks to its Snapdragon 660 processor. The Key2 looks very similar to its predecessor, the KeyOne. In this world filled with smartphones of every imaginable feature, we’re excited to see how well the Blackberry Key2 performs. Staying true to its strength, the brand released BlackBerry Key2, a touchscreen-cum-qwerty smartphone. While there are many smartphone brands to choose from today, BlackBerry is still going strong, releasing newer models that are coupled with Android OS. Loved and preferred by many for its data-secured and no-nonsense practicability, the BlackBerry hardly disappoints.Ĭonsidered as the world’s first smartphone, these features make it perfect for a business person, who needs a practical phone for productivity purposes on-the-go. When you think of qwerty keyboards on smartphones, BlackBerry comes to mind. This inabilty to create the file goes away if I reboot. I also think that the IDE is seriously sub-optimal since it recompiles everything even if you've just changed the sketch you're working on.
